Guess what guys,

We are in the process of upgrading certain aspects of the club to serve you better. Our first plan of action is to create a Member’s Card. We have a couple of designs in mind but the one below seems to be the nicest. It was designed by a magician who is going to be a member in January. Do let us know what you think or if you would like to contribute in any way.

We’d really like to thank these people for their time in helping us with this project. Bose Francis would like to give a word of thanks to all those who have assisted and supported him in one way or another to make this into a very successful competition. It was an overwhelming success that there will be another competition again this year either in June or Dec. 2010. So dear fellow magicians, please prepare yourself for another exciting competition.

This is a Magic competition unlike in the Magic Convention. This magic competition runs between duration of 12 minutes to 15 minutes. It is about how well you could entertain the audience. You could also include audience participation during your performance. So if you are able to go into the Finals then you are of a standard to be able to make some extra cash by entertaining the audience on a free lance basis.

The purpose of the magic Competition is as follows:-

-  To promote the art of Magic

-  To give an avenue for budding magicians to showcase their talents.

-  To expose the talents of budding magicians to event companies and clients.

-  To stimulate and strengthen their skills in Magic.

-  To create fellowship amongst magicians.

-  To give an opportunity to entertain in public.

-  To learn and share knowledge in the presentation of Magic.

-  To kindle the interest of Magic to the general public.

-  To garner magicians to become members to any of the Magic Associations.

As mentioned earlier that the competition is so successful that Bose Francis is negotiating another more serious Magic Convention or a competition sometimes in April 2010. Do lookout for announcements soon.

The 33rd World Magic Seminar

Welcome to The World Magic Seminar (WMS)! The WMS is the premier convention for both professional and amateur magicians sponsored by world famous magicians Siegfried and Roy since its inception. The WMS began 32 years ago as the Desert Magic Seminar and is held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to the seminar, Lance Burton hosts a special week-end event is held for teen magicians.
